What is our refund policy?

It's important for you to know about our no refund policy before you decide to use our service. We're pretty sure you won't want any surprises!

We are unable to issue a refund. And here's why:
Once you've placed your order, your reports will be available instantly.
You will receive immediate access to your Reports. So will the Listing Agent and/or The Landlord. Once Reports are generated and provided, it cannot be reversed.
Since we are not selling a physical item that could possibly be returned, we have no way of taking back the information you've purchased, and we've provided.

We feel it is important to share this fact with you prior to your providing payment for our service.

Is SoftScreen’s inquiry a hard or soft hit?

SoftScreen is a SOFT hit!
This means it will have NO IMPACT on the consumer's credit score. None! Zero, Zip, Nada!

An inquiry, also known as a hit, is a record of who has been inquiring on the consumer’s credit file. Some inquiries, like those traditionally associated with a landlord's pulling of a Tenant's credit report, are considered a hard hit because they impact the consumer’s score in a hard or negative manner. SoftScreen is different. Ours is a soft hit that does not impact the credit score in any way!

Can SoftScreen reports be used more than once?

YES! As previously mentioned, SoftScreen reports can be shared and re-shared with multiple recipients on an almost unlimited basis for 30 days. This is limited to a maximum of 5 times per day, up to 150 shares within the first 30 days. After 30 days, sharing via SoftScreen ends but Reports remain available for an additional 30 days. Reports can be printed or saved as a PDF by the Tenant. Perfect for the Tenant who has several property options. Fantastic for the Showing Agent with a tenant who may need multiple shares over an extended period of time!

I do not want my Social Security number disclosed to anyone

OK, no problem! We won’t! We don’t!

SoftScreen’s credit reports are 100% free of Social Security numbers. They are also 100% free of any account numbers! Our reporting is discreet and safe. This benefits all concerned… including Real Estate Professionals and Property Owners who do not want the responsibility of handling documents containing another’s sensitive details.

SoftScreen does NOT keep, store or maintain your Social Security number, AT ALL!
In fact, we don't actually receive the Social Security number.
With SoftScreen, Social Security numbers are being provided DIRECTLY to TransUnion® through a secure interface.

What if I don't have a Social Security number?

Non-U.S. citizens who have applied for and received an ITIN from the I.R.S. simply use their ITIN in lieu of a Social Security number.
