1) ADDRESS ENTRY in SoftScreen
The Realtor®, Property Manager, or Landlord registers the address of the rental property by entering it in SoftScreen.
Now any prospective tenant can apply, either by invitation or pro-actively, by choosing the address.
(Realtors® - If your broker participates in our IDX/MLS import, listings will automatically populate in SoftScreen. An agent account and your broker's participation is required.)
2) ORDER REPORTS AND APPLY IN ONE OF SEVERAL WAYS
Order and Receive Your Own Reports at Any Time!
Once ordered, Reports will be placed in your secure account, ready to be shared with Agents and Landlords at any time! Apply for any rental property registered in SoftScreen. You have complete access to your own information! TransUnion® certified reports will remain available to you for a total of 60 days. SoftScreen shares them securely, privately, and on an unlimited basis for up to 30 days.

Tenants are able to search, locate, and choose to apply for an address, providing a full package of reports: A complete credit report with score, national criminal background, and national eviction reports, along with our best-in-class rental application.

Choose to invite tenants.
The agent representing the tenant, the listing agent, or the property owner, can invite tenants to apply: Just click "Invite Tenant", enter the tenant's email address, and send your invitation. Done!
An Agent representing the Tenant can even invite Tenants to order and receive their own Reports, at any time, without having to choose an address. This enables Tenants to have their Reports at the ready! A great feature that makes Tenant Screening fast and simple!
Tenants receive their invitation containing a custom-generated SoftScreen link. It's a simple, safe, private way to engage the tenant, and assist them with the rental screening process.
3) REPORTS ARE PROVIDED
Tenant reports are provided to the Listing agent, landlord, and tenant can continue to use reports, as needed.
Email notification is sent to all parties when reports are provided by the tenant. 24/7/365
