PLEASE NOTE: It is not unusual for the landlord to request and obtain the Social Security number and government-issued photo ID from the applicant selected for the tenancy. In the unfortunate event eviction proceedings must be initiated, this information will be needed. All tenants should provide this information if it is requested.
