How can an address be entered in SoftScreen®?
Manual entry -or- MLS automation

Addresses can be entered manually or via automated MLS entry -IF- your broker has chosen to participate by signing on for our automated service.

MLS automated entry

If your broker has signed on for this service, follow these simple steps:

  1. Register with us - create your agent account. When registering, use the email address your MLS uses for your MLS membership.

    (If you enter your listing in MLS before registering with us, we will register your account automatically. Look for our email with your password reset link.
    Set your new agent account password, and you will be good to go!)

  2. Enter your rental listing in your MLS as you usually would.

  3. Do not elect to withhold your listing from IDX or other third-party websites (like Realtor.com, Zillow, Trulia, Redfin, etc.)

  4. Once your listing is active, it will populate in SoftScreen® within one hour.

Manual Address Entry

Follow these simple steps to key in your listing:

Sign in to your agent account and click “Enter Address”

Next, select your agency role (who do you represent? Property Owner or both Property Owner and a Tenant for your own listing) and click to continue registration

On the following screen, enter the address, set your applicant criteria, and click to continue registration.

On the following screen, you will be guided through the completion of the address entry process.

You can “Add Landlord” during this process or choose to add them at any time in the future.

Once entered, you can also send a link via email or text, inviting potential tenants to apply.
